Flint Sickle by Moersleutel is a bold and robust barley wine, crafted with a unique quadruple mash process (yes, four mashes – BAM!).
Made with a blend of rye malt and Chevallier malt, which make up 65% of the grain bill, this beer boasts a thick, almost jelly-like body with a marmalade-like aftertaste. Subtle notes of chocolate rye, amber malt, and a hint of caramel malt add layers of complexity. Fermented with English yeast (our IPA yeast), and cold-fermented to bring out delightful apricot esters. Hopped with Bramling Cross and Tango hops, it features lovely red fruit and floral tea aromas.
Rich, thick, and full of character – a truly exceptional brew.
Cheers!
